S&P expects the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Canada to cut interest rates this week

S&P expects the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates by 25 basis points this week, lowering interest rates to 4% to 4.25% as employment data cools down and inflation remains high. S&P also expects the Bank of Canada to cut interest rates by 25 basis points to 2.5%, and may cut at least once this year.
