Vitalik elaborated on Ethereum's future goals at the Japan Developer Conference

According to BlockBeats, on September 17, crypto KOL AB Kuai.Dong said that Vitalik attended the Japan Developer Conference. Vitalik said that Ethereum’s short-term goal is to expand capacity, which is to increase the Gas limit of Ethereum L1 while maintaining decentralization.

Ethereum’s medium-term goal is to achieve cross-L2 interoperability and faster response speeds. The long-term vision is to create a secure, concise, quantum-resistant, formally proven streamlined version of Ethereum.
